The vision for the Great Lakes Region is to raise up, train, and release planters and teams for 75 churches by 2013.

Our goals to fulfill this vision:

1. Work with local churches to help them identify and train their potential planters.
2. Sponsor conferences and events designed to cast vision for church planting as a worthy Kingdom calling.
3. Develop and implement Church Planter (and team) Boot Camps to train planters in core competencies.
4. Conduct timely and authentic assessments of potential planters.
5. Nurture a healthy coaching network.

Potential Church Plant Criteria

Prior to First Year
Pastor's Recommendation turned in
Application completed and turned in to closest church plant coordinator
Assessment completed with team from the district or region
Acceptance into the program by the CPC and APC. Coach is assigned who will oversee the training and development of the plant through the subsequent stages.

The following seven steps are used to guide our church planting in the US.They are our way to relationally connect planters to the pastors and overseers around them, to provide coaches to resource them, and to communicate with all parties as we work to intentionally send and receive our new pastors into the areas where they intend to plant.
